I would definitely book again thanks to remote location. The hotel has a nice bar.

The staff were very amiable and efficient. The hotel was in a remote setting to food shops etc. Moreover, it was near to other areas in the Lake District, a slope and local attractions.

Super base for discovering Bassenthwaite Lake. Exceptionally comfortable beds, central heating, a multi-channel television, and ironing facilities in the room. A beautiful view from the window. Amazing, beautiful location adjacent to other areas in the Lake District, the lake district and Cockermouth, Keswick, the nearby Lakes Distillery and Lake District Wildlife Park, efficient staff.

Quiet little hotel in a lovely and beautiful place. Location so close to Lake District Wildlife Park and Cockermouth, Keswick, the nearby Lakes Distillery and Lake District Wildlife Park. Also, to food shops etc.

Stunningly beautiful views, we didn't want to leave.
The staff were friendly, little hotel. Amazing location to food shops etc was a plus. Moreover, it was just next door to Cockermouth, Keswick, the nearby Lakes Distillery and Lake District Wildlife Park, other areas in the Lake District, and Lake District Wildlife Park.
